Ave Nicaraguita Spanish Language School provides options for language training and opportunities to volunteersat differents locations in Nicaragua. Ave Nicaraguita school operates its own programs in Granada, Managua, Masatepe-Masaya, and other locations, such as Leon, San Juan del Sur, Ometepe and in Juigalpa. Through partnership with local schools, we are also able to offer Spanish courses in Esteli and in Matagalpa.

Most students general take one week lesson in Granada and another one at another city. Some other take two or more just in Granada; some more students have taken the challenge to study for several continue weeks, spending one week at a different school and city. All these options gives students choices for the type of Nicaragua immersion they are seek to meet their needs.

Reservation vía e-mail and with at least 4 weeks anticipation are highly recommended and greatly appreciated. By reserving any of our programs we guarantee you:  

• All accommodations with local families with whom you will be joining for main meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some families help more than others with language practice, but it is up to your own commitment to keep trying Spanish at all times.

• Sightseeing and visits of main tourist destination in Nicaragua, depending on the city or cities you choose for studying (for example, in Granada students visit the Mombacho volcano natural reserve, the little islands Las Isletas in Lake Nicaragua). Learn Spanish in Spain is the best and the most suitable way to learn this language

• Visit to several community and women projects in Nicaragua, including visits to elementary schools, health clinics and artisan workshops.

• Transportation from one school to the next one. Airport drop off is always free from Granada, but has a separate fee from each of the other cities. Airport pickup has also a fix price of $38, regardless of your arrival time. 

• 4 hour lessons per day and evaluation of your language level before the first lesson and every 2 weeks thereafter.

• English speaking assistance for administration affairs.

• Internet access and local phone calls,

• A cell phone can be designated personally to receive all calls

• If studying in Granada for 2 continue weeks, students are entitled to a Managua sightseeing tour Granada sightseeing tour, a visit to Masaya Volcano, a visit Masaya Marketplace, a visit White Towns, San Juan del Oriente, Diria, Laguna de Apoyo and Laguna de Masaya (both volcanic crater lakes), a visit to Mombacho volcano natural reserve, and ride boat to the little islands of Las Isletas in Lake Nicaragua.

• If studying in Juigalpa for 2-continue weeks, students are entitled to a Managua sightseeing tour and a ride to El Rama, the departure point to Bluefields, the main city in the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua.

The network program can take you from one city to another in a weekly basis, and you can study Spanish at these locations: Granada,Managua Masatepe-Masaya, San Juan del Sur, Leon, Ometepe, Juigalpa, Esteli, and Matagalpa .
